Pagan Poetry is a song by icelandic singer Björk. She is a huge inspiration and I almost filled this whole post with her... This song is about a woman preparing herself for her wedding and her lover. The video may be a bit odd but I like the way it mixes sex, body modification and love with this innocence. Audrey Kawasaki is an artist that I discovered not so long ago. I like her so much because there's some Manga in her work but also a certain kind of Sadness / Loneliness / Hope. The Renoir painting is there because yesterday I was going through my mothers Renoir book (by Colin B. Bailey) and the Painting of Jeanne Samary reminded me of my mother. There are a lot of artists around that time (ca. 1850 - 1920) that drew women with pale skin and red / red-blonde hair ( p.e. Gustav Klimt or Egon Schiele). The Orchid photograph is because when I was looking for a background I looked for Mapplethorpe Pictures of flowers because they had the thing I needed (Black and White but also "Happiness"). My current background is by Agnes M. Absynia is a song from Radio Ethiopia by the Patti Smith Group. I discovered it while looking through my iTunes Library.

Pagan Poetry est une chanson de la chanteuse islandaise Björk. Elle est une grande inspiration pour moi et j'ai faillit remplir ce post qu'avec elle... Cette chanson parle d'une femme  ce préparant pour son marriage et son partenaire. La vidéo peut paraitre un peu bizarre mais j'aime comment elle mélange sexe, modification corporelle et l'amour avec cette innocence. Audrey Kawasaki est une artiste que j'ai découverte il n'y a pas tres longtemps. Je l'aime beaucoup par ce qu'il y a une touche de manga dans son travail mais aussi un(e) certain(e) tristesse / solitude / espoir. La peinture de Renoir est ici par ce que hier en regardant le livre sur Renoir de  ma mère (écrit pa Colin B. Bailey) j'ai tout de suite pensé a ma mère en voyant le portrait de Jeanne Samary. Il y a beaucoup d'artistes à cette époque (ca. 1850 - 1920) qui dessinaient des femmes rousses a la peau pâle ( p.e. Gustav Klimt ou Egon Schiele). La photo de l'orchidée est ici a cause de ma recherche d'un fond pour ce blog. En recherchant des photos noir et blanches mais quand même joyeuses j'ai recherché des photos de Robert Mapplethorpe par ce qu'elles avaient ce que je cherchais.Mon fond actuel est de Agnes M. Absynia est une chanson de Radio Ethiopia du Patti Smith Group. Je l'ai découverte en allant a travers mais Librairie iTunes.

Pagan Poetry ist ein Lied von der isländischen Sängerin Björk. Sie ist eine grosse Inspiration für mich und ich hätte fast den ganzen Post nur mit ihr ausgefüllt... Dieses Lied handelt von einer Frau die sich auf ihre Hochzeit und ihren Partner vorbereitet. Das Video kann etwas komisch scheinen, jedoch mag ich wie es Sex, Body-Modification und Liebe mit dieser Unschuld mischt. Audrey Kawasaki ist eine Künstlerin die ich erst vor kurzem entdeckt habe. Ich mag sie sehr weil es einen manga-"touch" in ihrer Arbeit gibt, aber auch eine gewisse Traurigkeit / Einsamkeit / Hoffnung. Das Renoir Gemâlde ist hier weil ich gestern als ich das Renoir-Buch von meiner Mutter durchblätterte (von Colin B. Bailey) Ich musste direkt an meine Mutter denken als ich das Portrait von Jeanne Samary sah. Viele Künstler zu dieser Zeit (ca. 1850 - 1920) malten rothaarige/ rotblonde Frauen mit bleicher Haut ( z.B. Gustav Klimt oder Egon Schiele)Das Foto von der Orchidee ist hier weil ich einen hintergrund für meinen Blog suchte. Ich guckte mir Robert Mapplethorpe an weil er das hatte was ich brauchte (Schwarz und weiss aber trotzdem eine Art "Freude")  Mein jetziger Hintergrund ist von Agnes M. Absynia ist ein Lied vom Patti Smith Group. Ich habe es entdeckt als ich durch meine iTunes Library ging.
